P re-School
Pre 1: Suitable for beginner skaters with little or no skating experience, who are comfortable participating without a parent.
Pre 2: Suitable for skaters who are able to stand up unassisted, demonstrate balance & posture and are able to walk across the ice with speed.
Pre 3: Suitable for skaters who are able to push and glide forward, march backwards with tempo and who are able to stop.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Hockey or figure skates that lace up (avoid buckles or Velcro)
• CSA-approved hockey helmet with full-face cage
• Warm, dark clothes (waterproof) including gloves or mitts
• Bicycle or ski helmets are not permitted
